TERMS & CONDITIONS OF EQUIPMENT RENTAL

These Terms & Conditions apply to all equipment rented from Stor Cuci Rental Services.

By confirming a booking, making payment, collecting or receiving the equipment, the customer (“Renter”) confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. RENTAL EQUIPMENT

Stor Cuci Rental Services provides cleaning machines, tools, accessories and related equipment for rental.

The equipment may include:

• Carpet and upholstery cleaning machines

• Steam cleaners

• Wet and dry vacuum cleaners

• Pressure washers

• Floor cleaning and scrubbing machines

• Air blowers and drying equipment

• Cordless cleaning tools

• Extension cables

• Brushes, hoses, nozzles, pads and attachments

• Other equipment and accessories supplied as part of the rental

All equipment and accessories remain the property of Stor Cuci Rental Services at all times.

2. BOOKING & CONFIRMATION

A booking is considered confirmed once:

• Stor Cuci has accepted the booking; and

• The required payment has been made.

The Renter must provide accurate information including name, contact details, delivery or collection information and any information required for verification purposes.

Stor Cuci reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where:

• The customer's identity cannot be reasonably verified;

• False or misleading information is provided;

• Fraud or misuse is suspected;

• There is a reasonable risk to the equipment; or

• The equipment becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3. PAYMENT & SECURITY DEPOSIT

Full rental payment must be made before the equipment is delivered, collected or handed over, unless otherwise agreed. Stor Cuci may require a refundable security deposit depending on the equipment rented. Where a deposit is required, it must be paid before the equipment is released.

The deposit may be used to cover reasonable charges relating to:

• Missing or unreturned equipment or accessories

• Damage to the equipment

• Excessive cleaning

• Late return

• Additional collection required

• Outstanding rental charges

Any remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded after the equipment has been returned and inspected.

If the amount payable exceeds the security deposit, the Renter remains responsible for the outstanding amount.

4. EQUIPMENT HANDOVER

The Renter is responsible for checking the equipment upon receiving it. Any obvious:

• Damage

• Missing accessories

• Missing attachments

• Operational problems

should be reported to Stor Cuci as soon as possible. Unless otherwise reported during handover, the equipment will be considered to have been received in satisfactory condition together with the accessories supplied.

Stor Cuci may take photographs of the equipment during handover and return for record, condition and inventory verification purposes.

5. USE OF EQUIPMENT

The equipment must only be used:

• For its intended purpose

• According to the operating instructions

• In a safe and responsible manner

• By a person capable of operating the equipment safely

The Renter must not:

• Open or dismantle the equipment

• Modify or alter the equipment

• Attempt unauthorised repairs

• Tamper with safety or tracking devices

• Remove identification labels

• Use the equipment for illegal purposes

• Use the equipment in a way likely to cause damage

• Sell, dispose of or pledge the equipment

• Sub-rent or transfer the equipment to another person without Stor Cuci's permission

If the Renter allows another person to operate the equipment, the Renter remains responsible for that person's use of the equipment.

6. CARE & RESPONSIBILITY

The Renter is responsible for the equipment from the time it is handed over or delivered until it is successfully returned to Stor Cuci.

The Renter must take reasonable care to protect the equipment from:

• Loss

• Theft

• Damage

• Misuse

• Fire

• Rain or inappropriate water exposure

• Unauthorised use

• Other preventable risks

Any loss, theft, damage or serious malfunction must be reported to Stor Cuci as soon as reasonably possible.

7. RETURN OF EQUIPMENT

All equipment must be returned:

• On or before the agreed return date and time

• Reasonably clean

• Complete

• In good condition

• Together with all accessories and attachments supplied

The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, accessories, attachments and components are returned.

Collection by Stor Cuci / Runner

Where Stor Cuci, its employee, representative or appointed runner collects the equipment, the Renter must ensure that:

All equipment and accessories are physically presented and handed over to the runner at the time of collection.

Any equipment, accessory, attachment or component that is not presented and handed over during collection will be considered unreturned, even if the item remains at the Renter's premises or in the Renter's possession.

Collection of the main machine does not automatically confirm that all accessories or attachments have been returned.

Stor Cuci reserves the right to inspect and verify all returned items after collection.

If any missing item, damage or discrepancy is discovered after collection, Stor Cuci may contact the Renter and apply the relevant charges.

If an additional trip is required to collect an item that was not handed over during the original collection, an additional collection or transportation charge may apply.

8. LATE RETURN & RENTAL EXTENSION

Equipment must be returned by the agreed return date and time. Any request to extend the rental must be approved by Stor Cuci before the original return time. Extensions are:

• Subject to equipment availability; and

• Subject to additional rental charges.

Late returns without prior approval may be charged at the applicable rental rate.

Keeping the equipment beyond the agreed rental period does not automatically mean that an extension has been approved.

9. LOSS, DAMAGE & MISSING ITEMS

The Renter is responsible for loss or damage occurring while the equipment is under the Renter's care or control, except for normal wear and tear or genuine equipment defects.

The Renter may be charged for reasonable repair or replacement costs where damage results from:

• Misuse

• Negligence

• Improper handling

• Failure to follow instructions

• Unauthorised repair

• Modification

• Theft or loss

• Actions of another person allowed to use the equipment by the Renter

Missing, lost or unreturned accessories, attachments or components may be charged at their reasonable replacement cost.

10. EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION

If the equipment develops a problem during normal use, the Renter should stop using it where continued operation may:

• Cause further damage; or

• Create a safety risk.

The Renter must contact Stor Cuci for assistance. The Renter must not attempt to dismantle or repair the equipment without approval.

The Renter will not normally be responsible for genuine mechanical or electrical failure that was not caused by misuse, negligence, improper handling or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

11. DETERGENT & CLEANING CHEMICALS

Stor Cuci may provide detergent, cleaning solution or other cleaning products together with the equipment.

Different carpets, fabrics, upholstery and surfaces may react differently to cleaning chemicals.

The Renter is responsible for:

• Checking whether the product is suitable for the intended surface

• Following the usage instructions

• Testing the product on a small and hidden area before full application

• Using appropriate protective equipment where required

Stor Cuci shall not be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage caused by incorrect application, unsuitable use or failure to test a cleaning product before use.

12. IDENTITY VERIFICATION

For security and fraud-prevention purposes, Stor Cuci may require reasonable identity verification. Verification may include requesting:

• Identification card

• Passport

• Driving licence

• Other reasonable identification documents

Stor Cuci may also take photographs relating to the equipment, customer handover or return for rental verification and record purposes.

13. GPS & EQUIPMENT TRACKING

Certain equipment may be fitted with GPS or other location-tracking technology. Tracking technology may be used for:

• Equipment security

• Theft prevention

• Fraud prevention

• Equipment recovery

By renting equipment fitted with tracking technology, the Renter acknowledges that the location of the equipment may be monitored during the rental period for these purposes.

14. PERSONAL DATA

Personal information collected during the rental process may be used for:

• Booking administration

• Customer verification

• Rental management

• Security purposes

• Fraud prevention

• Equipment protection

• Payment or debt recovery

• Customer communication

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Malaysian personal data protection requirements.

Please refer to Stor Cuci's Privacy Notice for further information regarding the handling of personal data.

15. CANCELLATION & REFUND

Cancellation 24 Hours or More Before Rental

A full refund of the rental charge may be provided where cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental time.

Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before Rental

No refund will normally be provided for:

• Cancellation made less than 24 hours before the rental

• Same-day cancellation

• Customer not being available during the agreed delivery or collection

• Cancellation after the equipment has been collected

• Cancellation after the equipment has been dispatched for delivery

Where Stor Cuci cancels a booking because the equipment becomes unavailable, the applicable rental payment will be refunded.

16. LIABILITY

The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is suitable for their intended use and is operated safely.

Stor Cuci shall not be responsible for loss or damage arising from:

• Improper use

• Misuse

• Failure to follow operating instructions

• Use for an unsuitable purpose

• Unauthorised modification

• Unauthorised repair

• Negligence by the Renter or another user

• Circumstances beyond Stor Cuci's reasonable control

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stor Cuci shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss resulting from the rental or use of the equipment.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude any legal right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian law.

17. RECOVERY OF EQUIPMENT

If the rental period has expired and the equipment has not been returned, Stor Cuci may take reasonable and lawful steps to recover its equipment.

Stor Cuci may also take appropriate recovery action where there is reasonable concern that the equipment may be:

• Lost

• Stolen

• Wrongfully retained

• Sold

• Disposed of

• At significant risk of loss

The Renter must reasonably cooperate with Stor Cuci in arranging the return or recovery of the equipment.

18. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Any dispute relating to the rental or these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of Malaysia.

19. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Stor Cuci may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to a rental will normally be the version available at the time the booking is confirmed.

20. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

By:

• Confirming a booking;

• Making payment;

• Collecting the equipment;

• Accepting delivery of the equipment; or

• Proceeding with the rental,

the Renter confirms that they:

1. Have read these Terms & Conditions;
2. Understand their responsibilities as a Renter; and
3. Agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
